Lake Tahoe’s Sunnyside Restaurant, Party on Deck!

July 19th, 2008

Lake Tahoe’s Sunnyside restaurant is one of my favorite places to go for dinner in the summer. It’s a beautiful scenic drive from South Lake Tahoe that only adds to the experience. Sunnyside proudly toutes Tahoe’s largest lakefront deck overlooking the beautiful North Shoreline. It’s a relaxing atmosphere and a favorite for locals. On any given summer’s day you’ll find the deck full of cheerful people sipping drinks, soaking in the sun and socializing with friends. There’s plenty of energy and fun to be had.

The Sunnyside overlooks the marina that welcomes guests from the water as they pull in their boats to enjoy a quick lunch on the deck. But don’t let the relaxing atmosphere full you. Sunnyside offers fine dining with a large interior filled with white linen tables. Their mouthwatering menu is centered around steaks and chops, featuring prime and certified Angus beef. Be sure to try the Angus beef burger, yum. Top off your dinner with their famous Lake Tahoe desert, Kimo’s Original Hula Pie. Then lean back, enjoy the sunset and take in the smell of the pines.

Be sure to put Sunnyside on your list of restaurants to try. If not for dinner, then a fun afternoon with friends, a burger and a ice cold beer. It’s one place, you won’t forget. Visit our list of other great North Lake Tahoe restuarants.

The Fresh Ketch, Fine Dining in South Lake Tahoe

July 19th, 2008

The Fresh Ketch has been serving fine food at the Tahoe Keys Marina for over 20 years. It’s a great place to take your family, or that special date. Wander upstairs for fine dining and views of Tahoe Keys marina a beautiful gateway to Lake Tahoe. There’s also casual dining by the fireplace, located in the seafood bar downstairs. Visit the Fresh Ketch in the summer where you can enjoy your dinner out on the waterfront lawn and soak in the sunset.

The Fresh Ketch pairs great food and wine along with service and a stunning view. They can take care of a special banquet, meeting, and wedding reception holding groups up to 100 people. As the Fresh Ketch puts it, “it’s lakeside dining, where food and fun are taken seriously.”
